Disappointed This Time

I thought I was purchasing a real wood finished frame. I was disappointed to realize it was a paper that looked like wood covering a particle board frame. I purchased a real wood frame previously and thought I was getting the same. I had to use the frames as I had a deadline to submit my work for a show.

Arrived Broken- resolved quickly

Bought a custom frame and matte. Unfortunately, the matte was cut slightly too small, and the frame arrived cracked and separated at the corners. Customer service immediately replaced the frame, which arrived in worse shape than the first. I was given the option for a refund, which I took. I appreciated the quick and friendly service, but disappointed with not being able to receive a product that wasn't damaged or incorrect.

Arrived broken. Cheap feeling.

The frame arrived broken, which was not surprising after seeing it in person. The wood is cheap and flimsy. Customer service was great and immediately issued a refund.

Will never buy from again

I sent this email to Frame USA 3 weeks ago. No response. Received my order today. Truly a "wow" moment when I saw how cheap these frames look. I wanted cheap frames, so I wasn't expecting a lot, but you still hugely underdelivered. Some of that is my fault. I thought when I chose a frame out of the section marked "wood" that it would be wood, and wouldn't look like cheap plastic. Other companies sell MDF or engineered wood products, and seem to state that clearly, not bury it in the FAQ. Nice work by you though. You tricked me! I have a few MDF frames. They're not great, but way better than this product. The topper is the sawtooth hanger that requires me to drill holes because it uses screws. It's not just a tap-in, like you'd generally expect it to be. Maybe you can't tap it in to these plasticy frames? A tap-in hanger is what's pictured on your web site by the way, so that one is on you. Too bad for me that I don't own a drill.

Nice little frame

The fact that FRAMEUSA has uncommon sizes included their stock sizes, at an affordable price, keeps mathematically as my go to frame source. I also really like that they have plexiglass in their small sizes. As a curator of a couple of art shows, glass is very undesirable.

I liked the look of this item online, but I was disappointed with it for three reasons: It is flimsy and the sides buckle easily; it is just a wood particle product covered with black paper (it is not even painted); all four corners have small splits where they are pieced together. I am keeping the frame only because I needed to present something as a gift and did not want to wait for a replacement.
