The frame is pretty good but there are gaps in 3/4 corners and there is a spot that feels and looks rough like it wasn’t sanded properly that’s about 2x2

The frames were great! just what I was expecting. minus 1 star for the continual asks for a review and the inability to leave a review without a comment.
I agree with another 3 star review - I was disappointed with the quality of the frame construction. The frames are stapled together and the joints are not even, with gaps between the mitered edges. I had to use wood filler then sand (I was planning on sanding anyways since these are unfinished). The tabs make it hard to remove the glass.
I also couldn't find the wood species listed anywhere online or on the product directly, which made deciding on a stain difficult, since stain will appear different depending on species. Luckily I bought an extra to use as a tester.
I do appreciate the wide variety of standard sizes and option to have custom sizes made, and think overall these will work well for my project. They will just need more work than expected to get to that point.

Well made and fun to decorate
I ordered these for the grandkid to decorate as a gift. The first shipment was the wrong frame, but with 1 phone call Frame USA's customer service had the correct frames on the way. Delivery was fast, the frames were perfect, and they are GREAT quality! We will definitely be ordering from Frame USA again!

After struggling to get some consistency with picture frames when ordering from outlet like a****n I found FrameUSA! These plain wood frames are awesome - I like to use a black wood stain for a very nice looking finish. I have also experimented with mixing various color stains with great results. The wood grain compliments my photos beautifully!
Shipping is expensive but frames come undamaged. Only one broken piece of glass over the years. Not a big deal. Most recent order had a frame with big knot that should have been rejected.

I wasn't sure what color frame I wanted and I needed a special size. Getting an unfinished frame in the custom size worked out great.
The frames are nice, but the plastic is slightly cloudy, not like the pictures lead me to believe.

I was expecting a little better made frame. The finish was very rough and needed to be sanded to use. It is joined with staples and not tight joints. There were little metal tabs that loosely held in the glass.
I wanted a completely unfinished frame for refinishing and this is perfect.
